My First Meteorite Mission

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

When the new patch with the meteorites came out i went on a mission to go get one!

I hope you enjoyed =)

I hate it when people don't know the difference. You mean asteroids, right?

Asteroid are chunks of rock basically floating around in space, most of them are in an orbital ring(belt) between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, in KSP-between Duna and Jool orbits(makes sense). Meteors are asteroids which are reentering the atmosphere(meteor shower, makes sense), meteorites are asteroids when they already fell and are above/under the Earth/celestial body surface.

I liked your video :). Good quality too, looks like you put some effort into it. The craft too - when I did my first jaunt out to one of the asteroids I almost ran out of fuel because I decided to bring it back with me :(

Nah it wasn't that dark. There is a mod out there that just brightens up KSP in dark scenes. Think it's called ambient light increaser or something along those lines. I usually do screenshots & videos on the day side of kerbin for that reason lol.
