Hey Guys and Gals,

This is where i document and walk you through what im doing in my game. I have an all stock missions (with the exception of Kerb Eng) log where ill show you my exploration of the kerbol system including pictures and text. And if requested Craft files and persistence :D Keep me updated on whether you like what im doing or whether you don't. No offence taken. Just constructive feedback please :D. Also suggestions on what i should do next if there is something specific.

Thankyou :D

EDIT: oooo yes and not sure on the name. So feedback or suggestion on that please.

Episode 1 - Pilot

For a start no kerbal even knows what is beyond the clouds and the sky. This is cause for some exploration. To do this we'll need a probe. I set out on building my probe. I needed the probe to be light and have a small amount of fuel with a tiny engine. This is so we can shift the probe around once in space and if needed to later, bring it back. And here it is...

Now all is well i needed to find a way to put this thing into orbit. To do that i had two in-line FL-T800 tanks with a LV-T45 engine under them. I also had two radial attached FL-T800's also with a LV-T45 engine. I have fuel lines from them to the central tanks to increase the efficiency of the rocket.

This rocket was very easy to get into orbit and i had absolutely no problems and all ran smoothly

First Staging :D

zZB1RTq.png

I got it into a 100k by 100k orbit as this was high enough and the rocket got there with fuel to spare :D

After that i detached the next stage and was left with the final probe where the testing of this whole new perspective began! :D

END OF EPISODE 1!!

Hope you enjoyed this, I did! As i said before, FEEDBACK please! Things will get a lot better as it goes on because ill be making this take space stations round jool and bases on laythe etc... but i dont was to rush into things too fast, as this would be silly. NASA didnt go the Mars before they went to the moon :D

If you read through this please reply to the thread i would like to know if people actually read it :D

Thankyou and goodbye

EPISODE 2 - Geosynchronous Sat-coms

Now If were going to explore further beyond kerbin then were going to need some Satcoms. For a rocket to be in contact will 1 satcom at all times we need to make 3 geosynchronous satcoms that make an equilateral triangle.

I start by making a simple satcom payload...

LifYE3j.png

As we will need three i attach two more using the cubic struts...

xAw6lM6.png

I have done all of the calculations and made a suitable launcher to do the job...

ZYwm0Ga.png

Now, launchy launchy :D

iuyLQ1l.png

5hAYIo4.png

hM5DVTe.png

Firstly i just get it into a simple 80 by 80 orbit...or as close as i can...

GOfelTz.png

Now for them to be geosynchronous the average orbit altitude needs to be 2,868km. So i start by extending my apogee to this height.

wvCLrB3.png

Now what needs to be done is that when im at the apogee i will extend my perigee so i have a 4h orbital period. All will be explained, just go with it.

mrYUnlS.png

Now, ill loop back round to my apogee and release the first probe. Once i do this i will extend the perigee of the probe to make a 6h orbital period. i do this because 1 kerbin day is 6h. this causes the probe to be stationary relative to kerbin's surface. I you do this youll know what i mean :D

jnBrROv.png

dFJyF1s.png

Now i will loop my other two remaining satcoms back to the apogee and repeat what i did with the first probe and then the same for the last probe:D

wXM7oY2.png

PRXIvFs.png

5fdKCK6.png

6pXklMj.png

And that should be done all three probes should make an equilateral triangle. they should look something like this.

EdGkaEf.png

Dont worry if they are slightly off i have done his mission a few times before :D

After i get some interplanitary missions under my belt the probes will be way off an equilateral triangle, but hay, its fun!! :D

END OF EPISODE 2

Hope you enjoyed if anyone even looks at these XD
