ROMV - Vertical Stack Launched Space Plane

ROMV

The Rocket-launched Orbital Manoeuvring Vehicle is a new kerbal development. Jeb liked how his planes landed, but hated the long wait to orbit of an SSTO. Bob got to work, and came up with this.

It's perfectly capable of orbit with roughly ~300m/s left for manoeuvres, and a metric a*s tonne of RCS for even more space related things.

It also works (with a little help) with the MechJeb ascent guidance. Use these parameters for a perfect launch

Turn Start: 5km

Turn End: 50km

Turn Shape: 30%

If you're doing it manually, start the gravity turn around 5km and aim to be at 30º above the horizon at 30km.

Landing is relatively straight forwards, just make sure to touch down nice and gently.
