And what type would it match closest? (because in real life, such a star would be impossibly small)

The star cannot exist in real life. According to the wiki it is a hodgepodge of stellar parameters, most likely chosen for visual and playability reasons. It has the surface temperature of a K Class main sequence star, a radius comparable to a red dwarf, a luminosity of about 0.02 Solar Lumiosities, and the mass of a sub-brown dwarf.
