This First Landing of a Kerban on the Mun is Dedicated to...

... "Wild" Bill Kerman, who foolishly, err, fearlessly, attempted a Munar landing short of fuel, and died, ending Munshot Beta.

... Zeb Kerman, who fecklessly neglected his radar altimeter on final approach to the Mun, and died, ending Munshot Zeta.

... Zeb Kerman (his brother?), who recklessly attempted a visual approach to the Mun, and died, ending Munshot Eta 2.

I, "Mild" Bill Kerman, dedicate Munshot Eta 3, the product of a week of ad hoc improvisation and the willingness to risk others' lives, to these brave pioneers. Without their sacrifice, my success would not be possible.

Ummm, does anybody have any ideas on how to get home?

Welcome to the forums!

The only thing i can think of since you have no way to get into orbit again is your best bet is to send a rescue ship and get the surviving kerbals in the ship and fly them home and land with parachutes like you would any other mission. There is a more cheaty/risky way, That's to use your jetpack to get into orbit and do a space walk to kerbin, But then stay in orbit around kerbin and rendezvous with the kerbal, Have the kerbal spacewalk to the ship and board it then go home like you would.

That's all i can say, Kerbals don't have parachutes so don't try to land with an EVA on kerbin.

RCS on, jump, mash Shift and W, and away I go! Oops, the suit doesn't have the delta V -- up to 50,000m, and a grisly death. Nice view, though. "Mild" Bill joins the ranks of the heroic fallen.

So do the rescue vehicle one, It's very easy and safer.
