Colonizing Laythe and Jool system exploration

Here it is, in all its glory, the Colonizer:

The ship is made up of 3 main parts-hab attachment, command center and propulsion module.

I docked the propulsion module(2 NERVAs) together with a huge booster to escape Kerbin faster.

The 4-way node at the end ensures the mission's success-the 4th port at the front is for other stuff, the other 3 around

are for base modules, equipped with parachutes, lights, gear etc.

Note there are decouplers under every port. Why? I want the modules to land close to each other, right?

The connecting node separates from the command module together with the habs. It has 2 small engines for de-orbiting and some fuel.

Once that is done, the whole thing re-enters. After that, all hab modules deploy parachutes.

Around 1000m to the surface, all modules simultaneously detach from the core. They land on chutes very close to each other together.

During their slow descent there is plenty of time to prepare each module for a safe landing.

The command center with the propulsion module are left in orbit. It can be used later to deliver kerbals back to Kerbin, or to act as a space bus and take them to other Jool moons, where there is a space station around each one :)

All that is left is to land on them all and deliver my Delta Klipper SSTO to Laythe to carry crew back and forth. Once that is done,

Laythe will have been fully colonized :D

Here is progress on putting stations around Jool's moons:
