Steam Workshop craft exchange

Just thought this would be a good idea. Space Engineers used that and it came out to be very attractive to gamers. I think KSP should implement this too, would make adding crafts to your repository much easier, as well as sharing them through steam. No image uploading to imgur, and .craft uploads to Dropbox, Mediafire etc.

Actually, I support this. It would allow people to spam Steam with all their terrible craft instead of mucking up Spaceport. It's a win-win.

Hardly. There are lots of games on Steam with the workshop enabled that don't require Steam. Skyrim is one that comes to mind.

Edit: Okay, apparently Skyrim required steam activation. Regardless, there are games that don't require Steam, but do have Steam workshop... Maybe Civ 5?

I wouldn't want this. I do not want to be on Steam to play KSP. I like to have to manually update my games. I feel as if this would limit me in some way

This is on the What Not to Suggest List. I've queried Rowsdower about it in the past, and his response was that a Workshop implementation is not "considered as part of the process in getting to 'scope complete,' and as such is not on the radar for implementation anytime soon, unless otherwise noted."
