Can you use downloaded ships in Campaign mode?

I have almost all the research done but yet I cant load any of the ships I downloaded. I dont know if I cant do that or if the last couple of things I havent researched yet is stopping me. So whats the deal here? They were stock ships from the stock ship thread. Am I doing something wrong?

You can, but you have to put them in the actual save file, not in the main "ships" folder. Those are only for sandbox. You still cant use the downloaded ships until you unlock all the parts.

Ahhhh! OK, I guess I need to find out how to put then in a save file. Ya, they work in sandbox just fine. I guess I got campaign mode on the brain, ya, career mode is what I meant. TY for the reply.

The right directory is KSP/saves/<whatevernameyoursaveis>/ships/VAB or .../SPH

If you have all tech uncovered for that ship, you will be able to load it.

TY so much everyone, dont know why I didnt figure that out before. Sometimes I just look in the mirror and shake my head. lol
