How to add the online button on a thread!

I want to have online/offline green/white button tags like you see next to a person... I want to have it in my threads, so how would I do that?

You can't. It's either coded into the forum pages using PHP or Javascript, neither of which regular members can use as part of their posts. Theoretically, our forum admin could attempt to make a BBCode for it to be implanted wherever you wanted, but I can't think of any justifiable purpose for that to be figured out.

If you just want the little images (and not have them change according to whether you're online or not), you could right-click the indicator, click Copy Image URL, and insert it between [noparse][/noparse] tags.
