The tale of my first Mun Mission

I created a colossal rocket, stages 5-3 aided by Solid Rocket Booster, in the VAB. Then, I started a countdown in my head, 3...2...1... BLAST OFF!!!!!!!. I was aiming directly at the sky of Kerbin, and then after 3 minutes or so things were quiet, in fact, too quiet. I burned prograde until my orbit around Kerbin created a Mun encounter. I time-warped until I had a Munar Encounter. I burned retrograde until my orbit was eliptical, then, by mistake, I burned retrograde MORe until I crash landed on the Mun.

AND the moral of the story, accounted for in MY space agency's narration, never bring Jebediah kerman, no matter how Boss he is or how much of a G he is.
