Desperation - A KSP Regular-sized story

Hey guys, i decided to completely overhaul Desperation into something even cooler. (mods close the old one please) Here's my intro:

In the year 2341, resources on Kerbin, Minmus, and Duna were being depleted.

Kerbalkind did not yet posses the technology to mine Eve, let alone the other planets.

The ever-decreasing amount of astronauts to explore and investigate the other planets, and later on INTERSTELLAR space, for the investigation, colonization and mining of new worlds.

However there are troublemakers about in the Kerbol system that call themselves "Antikno", they wish to prevent the advancement of scientific progress for fear of angering the Kods by appearing to want to "overthrow" them.

However, Jeb, Bill and Bob were fired because KSC could no longer afford to operate, as the government was putting too much resources onto the public. "They need food". The government started looking like antikno's themselves, seeming to sabotage any and all attempts at furthering discovery.

However, Wernher von Kerman, winning the lottery to bring KSC back, tracks the original three down and re-hired them.

Supported by the public, they managed to overrule the government and get sent on a fast-track toward Tylo.

Wernher von Kerman walked through the hall with Jeb, Bill and bob, discussing the possibilities of subterranean life on Tylo. (and also the kraken)

Gene, who had also been re-hired, was observing the Tylo Miner Mk.I blueprints, remarking that they looked incredibly cool, but also thinking it was hard to control.

"Launch in T- 3 hours", said Wernher.

"Wait, were' going now?!" said Bob.

"Well of course! I told you, we have to launch now or else the government might shut us down! said Wernher.

"OK, fine how long will this take?" said bob.

"With the FTL drive, about 3 minutes."

"THREE MINUTES?!?!?!?!" said the original three all at once.

The room fell silent for 5 seconds before Wernher simply walked away to his coffee break.

3 HOURS LATER

"Well, time to go" said Wernher.

"WOOOOOOO!!!" said Jeb, who was ecstatic to become the first Kerbal on Tylo.

"Calm down, Jeb! Remember, were' going to Tylo to look for resources, not mine them." said Gene.

The kerbals went to the rocket.

"Launch in T- 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0...LIFTOFF!!!!! The first exploratory vehicle to go from Kerbin to Jool in over 50 years has just flew from the FTL cruiser pad and into orbit in just minutes.

"Engaging FTL drive, now..." said Jebediah.

They were put through 10 G's at least, as they hurtled toward Tylo....
