Planet Texture

I want to start my own planet pack with Planet Factory, but I have some difficulties with texture for my planets (im using GIMP). I want you to explain two thing to me:

- I want my texture to expand on poles

- When I making my texture I want it to disappear on one side and start again on another, so if I put it on sphere there aren't any visible joints on sides of the texture.

I'll really appreciate your help.

...um, I'm not sure what you mean, textures are wrapped around the planet basicly, so the right side of the texture will be connected to the left side of the texture, the top will make the North Pole, and the bottom will make the South Pole.

I know, but how do i make smooth connection between two sides.

You mean like putting a mountain on that part?

Try option "Make Seamless". I think that's what you're looking for.
