Advice for video capture

I am only assuming this is the correct location for such a question. I would like to start recording my space adventures and am wondering the best (or easiest) ways of capturing the memorable excitement. I am familiar with FRAPS, although continually frustrated with its limitations. Also easy to use video editing software recommendations are welcome. :kiss:

I am also sure there may be other posts regarding this issue out there and for the record I did search but I kept receiving errors. :sealed:

you would need to state what limitations you are refering to, if you are for example counting 'not being able to add webcam head shot in corner' as a limitation, then the problem is you want web broadcasting software and you are using video recording software.
