All-Stock Command Module Fairings

Hello, this is Sylandro speaking, and i have a useful tutorial about all-stock command module fairings!

First of all, open up KSP and play it, once it's done loading, open up your save and click on the VAB. Then, you'd want to choose a command module, either the mk.1 or mk.1-5.

First up, let's start with the mk.1 command module.

Attach two radial parachutes and a decoupler. Add a SAS. When you're done, it should look something like this:

Make sure you have angle snap on and 4x symmetry for this next step. Add four TT-38XK radial decouplers, and then add a M-Beam 650 I-beam on those four decouplers. You're halfway done now.

Add four 1x1 plates on the M-Beams, and then angle them so that they're near the 0.625m top of the command module. Then, add four seperatrons near the top of the 1x1 plates, and huzzah! You have a working command module fairing! Your result should look like this:

For the mk1.5 command modules, do the same, but with 8x symmetry.

Sylandro, out!
