Download mirrors, manual choice?

I'm overseas from home, using my wife's Macbook. I didn't download KSP to this, but now have some time to kill.

Connection here is not great, but could still download KSP in less than an hour, if the download mirror could feed it to me fast enough.

When I go to download the client, it appears to automatically choose a mirror in the UK, 6600 miles away. It downloads terribly slow and cuts out without being able to resume.

Is there any way to choose a download mirror from the client download page, rather than it being assigned automatically?
