Manually editing orbits

Recommended Posts

I want to know if there is a way to manually edit the apoapsis and periapsis of an orbit using the save file. It is possible to edit the semi-major axis that way, but I didn't see something that let me type in the Ap and Pe altitudes. Does it have something to do with the line beginning with "alt"?

The file with this data is named "persistent.sfs".

Install the hyperedit mod, you can set the orbit around any planet or moon, as well as loads of other stuff, I use it for getting things like my wobbly, massive refueling station frame into orbit, it would have been near impossible, especially since the station alone lags it to hell.
