ghimb2000
Hi,I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but the threads I've not read are auto marked as read after a length of time after I come back to the forums. It's something akin to what's talked about here:http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-1535594.html
vexx32
That's not quite what's happening, last I heard, but yes, it does look very similar to that. I think the primary issue is that vBulletin has an issue with session cookies when you use the forum in more than one tab simultaneously, and it can't properly keep track of what is and is not read. Hopefully the impending upgrade to vB5 will make that somewhat better, if not fix it entirely, but we won't know till after the upgrade is live. ghimb2000
I don't think it's due to opening many tabs. I tried opening only one tab and it's still happening to me. :/
Faark
To me it looks like the KSP forum is kinda "session" based. It will only mark you threads as unread that had new content between the current and the last session. This kinda makes sense since you don't have bazilion unread threads all over the forum, but can be annoying if you haven't read a thread in the last session (since you just wanted to DL a mod via google) or were distracted and didn't do anything on the forum long enough that the forum considers your comeback as a new session. Understanding this rly changed the way i'm using the KSP forum.
