Dragon V2 style landing

Has anyone tried a Dragon V2 style landing? Here's my attempt at it. It's not the easiest to have "helicopter" accuracy without computer guidance, but I got pretty close. It took a bit of part clipping to make it nice looking. Anyone else have inspiration to try this after yesterday's announcement?

That's not bad, what engines did you use? RCS?

They're rockomax 24-77s rotated inside the pod so just the nozzle is exposed. I wasn't expecting it to take 8 of them to get a decent TWR of around 2. I guess the mk2 pod is heavier than I thought.

I tried to clip a landing gear under the pod, but I wanted it to be fully retractable and couldn't get that behavior.

Yeah I tried. I edited the pod's file to add fuel to the pod, instead of adding an external fuel tank.
