Change staging in a save

Hey guys,

Is there any way to modify the staging of a part on a ship from the save file after launch. For my particular scenario, I have a stack separator that is in the wrong stage, but has not been decoupled in the save yet. I couldn't make sense of the save file, so I figured I'd post to see if it was even possible.

Yes, you can do this in the save file although I would imagine it can be quite a pain.

I think there's a mod out there for this, but I might be confusing it with the action group mod. If you're just moving one decoupler, it's probably best to simply grab the decoupler staging icon and move it to the desired stage while "in flight" just like you do in the VAB/SPH.
