dtoxic
I will not introduce a requirement for the Firespitter plugin, not for just one animation. Not gonna happen, sorry, I'm generally going to try to keep plugins to a necessary minimum. There's just too much risk that a plugin will stop working for whatever reason. And no, I'm not getting nullrefs on getting out of the rover.hmm maybe some other mod's are interfering with the rover...my log was spammed too thou fixed it like MeCripp suggested...no more nullrefs and all is good

Guest
Well, I'll test. The suspension fix, if it works, will be in the next update. I'm open to (pluginless) suggestions for the rear door.
Woodstar
Can some one show me how the orbiter and main command pod systems go together? Or they launched as separate launch systems.
Guest
HOME3 OS and HOME3 base are designed to be separate. OS delivers the crew to HOME, and the base provides habitats.
Guest
OK, I once again need your help finding BobCat's old mods. I just found Falcon II jet engine, an ancient, F-35 inspired piece that not only still seems to work, but looks nice (if stock-ish) as a bonus. Now, I distinctly remember there being Falcon I engine, of the same line. It was just a simple jet, but still a nice one. Anyone still has it? I'll update it and re-release. ArkaelDren
Dragon if your still searching down legacy Bobcat mods, please include the Mark 2 in this re-release of legacy's. I know the DEMV series was not included, why, I have no idea, as they are incredibly bad ass and loved by most of us that used them. I read this entire thread and its painful to see the onslaught, but like Sirkut said, use him if you don't mind having another set of eyes. This would be a great help to everyone if you were to use a few testers on these larger release projects. Thanks for all the work you guys put in, including the community for cfg fixes. Its you guys..... that keep me coming back for more KSP goodness.Dren Edited June 14, 2014 by ArkaelDren

Virtualgenius
Dragon awesome Job man I know your studying as well, thanks for all the time your putting in and I understand the non reliance on plugins but if you had to rely on one plugin the firespitter plugin would be it. Its powering lots of other mods and I think it would be picked up quite quickly if development stopped. Also Bobcats VTOL Engine at work Edited June 14, 2014 by Virtualgenius

I don't like it when I have to download half the Curse catalog just to get a mod to work. And I don't think that would improve actual functionality over what we have now, nor fix any bugs. All issues are in reality with the model itself.
ArkaelDren
Cripp do you have any idea if the demv series would work with the current plugin revisions? Or would it take re-writing the cfg's to make them functional? Thx for the reply, I would be so happy to have my fav rover running again.

Virtualgenius
The center section is a standard jet fuel tank and the intake is B9 the actual engine is just 1 part that you have to put either a fusalge part in the centre or a fuel tank as the engine has no surface mount capability.ArkaelDragon All the DEMV's work now with the current cleverbobcat DLL I have been trying to get cleverwalrus to update it but am no longer getting a response on email the Tosh cart has ceased working which is a shame as its a real handy little rover but for all the rest they work.if you need a link to the DLL it can be found here http://cleverbobcat.codeplex.com/

Edit-2 LOL @sp1989 think thats how he or she found less can be better. Edited June 15, 2014 by Mecripp2

Guest
Yes, and I'm none too happy about that. But that's the Space Shuttle, and a whole lot of it's functionality is missing from KSP. That's what happens when you make a spacecraft that tries to be everything at once.
sp1989
How does the truss system work for the ISS? Do I need to put a docking port on the front of the z1 and back of the Z0? I did this and the truss hits the top of the destiny lab and then intersects with it which doesn't look so good. A tutorial or labels on how to put this together would be very useful. Now don't get me wrong it is fun trying to figure out how to put it together and looking up maps and such but it can be frustrating getting pieces up only to find out they don't fit etc. Also are the truss docking ports WIP too? Because honestly no matter which direction I put them they just don't want to mate or magnetize to each other, they just bounce off. Guest
The entire truss is WIP. The dockports especially so. S0 does not attach to Z1, but to Destiny. Use a small Clamp-o-Tron, or something like that. Z1 does have a CBM docking port, but it's for PMA (was needed during assembly). The ISS is very unfinished, but still, it's a community project, so it got re-released. To get a good experience, you need to do some jury-rigging. Last time I've seen BobCat, he was working on the truss.

Guest
Yes. Yogui attached S0 to Z1 for testing (a proper mount isn't ready yet), but that's not how it was really done. As I said, WIP.
Razorcane
Hey Dragon, glad you guys revived the ISS pack. I have some specialized docking ports for the Zvezda Service Module, although they aren't textured. If you want them, let me know. They more closely resemble the ones on the actual Zvezda.
