Does ksp support flight sticks?

Recommended Posts

I've also heard it doesn't pay attention to the OS calibration, going through Unity instead, which sometimes doesn't get it right. For example, using my RC Flight sim controller, I can't get all the way to 100% or 0% throttle.

It does support them, but doesn't have a default configuration for any of the popular ones. You have to configure all of the buttons yourself, and it's still a little glitchy. I have the Extreme 3D and find that I get more precise control from the keyboard.

The name says it all, I want a better flying experience. But I have to make sure ksp even works with them before I lay down $30.

The particular model I'm looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826102204

I'm using the Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X and it is very precise. In this game, I've found the biggest benefit of the HOTAS to actually be the throttle, not the stick (although the stick is a nice improvement as well) because it helps immensely when getting into a hover and landing.
