Yeah, but remember SQUAD is a small indie company and their budget isn't as big as Mojang or EA for example, where the smallest booth is about 50,000$ for one day.

So no way they could do it!

haha last year Ouya (an independent android based console) set up shop in a parking lot across from E3, to avoid having to pay to be in there. so ESA(who runs E3) parked semi trailers in front of them. so ouya moved in front of the semi trailers. so ESA called the cops on them. the cops saw that ouja had rented both their current lot, and the lot behind the semis, so they called it all good and left. i love when the little guys win.
