This challenge is very interesting and I hope you guys will like it!

Details: The Kerbal Amazing race will be like the TV show. (if you haven't seen an episode I would stop reading and go watch one). So you will get clues for your destination. There will sometimes be a road block clue where you have to do something before you complete the clue! This race is a timed race. You as a player will set a timer when you start your flight. When your finished with the flight, stop the timer and give me the time for that clue. When your finished with the race you will send me your time and I will put it up on a score board. If your in first place when the race ends, you'll get to help me create the next race! I will participate in this race because I know the whole thing inside out.

Once you have finished a clue PM me and I will give you the next clue. There will be 25 total. Don't flip out if I don't answer you immediately, I might be asleep or taking a break thats all. If you have any questions, comment!

Rules:

1: You can only use the mods you have installed already.

2: Don't give me a fake time.

3: The only mods you may not use are Hyper edit and Interstellar.

4: No Debug Mode

5: Have fun.

Here is the first clue! Good Luck! The Challenges you have to do get more and more challenging as you progress.

CLUE 1: Build a rocket and fly into orbit! Take a picture at sunrise! Then you must return safely back to Kerbin!

Hey, what the heck? I'll go for it. Give me a few mins and I'll do so.

EDIT:

Actually, a few questions. Is it sandbox mode or career mode?

And do you start from the moment you create the game or only for flight time?

Hey I'm interested and all, but a few suggestions:

1. Set a time that you will regularly give a new clue.

2. Try to prevent confusion like the previous comment, by being as specific as possible with everything

3. Try to garner some interest before starting (get at least like 5 interested people and then start, otherwise it'll be hard for this to take off)

4. Is this using the game timer or your own timer? I think it would work best if you give the clues at a common time, and the order in which we post our pictures is the order of finishing.

5. I have about 6 gamedata folders on my computer with all different ods technically already installed, so you're going to have to weed out the mods you don't want used.

6. Potentially have the person who came in first with the last clue get to create the next clue. That way you can participate as well.

7. Might want to rule out reusing screenshots, because, for example, even I already have a screen shot of the sunset from Kerbin orbit, and I don't take a lot of screenshots.

Ok This is a sandbox. You only count flight time. Horndgmium, i'll consider your ideas. Everyone has access to the first clue, if you finish that clue PM me and you'll get the next one through PM. Now this is an experimental challenge. After this one I'll make another one. Like "The Kerbal Amazing Race 2" or something along those lines.

I just realized that it was not a rover that I was supposed to drive. It was the rover. The one that I... GAH! That thing has the worst stability.

Ssssh! Are we meant to talk about any of the things we're asked to do, or keep it quiet so as not to spoil it for anyone who plays later? (mine was the lightest = wimpiest I could deliver too).

Before you go on holiday - could you annotate the leaderboard with which clue number each person is on. That way, someone with a very low time but on an early clue would not be confused with someone further along.

How long are you away for anyway?

Especially as tomorrow I have to do some other stuff, then stanz's away so you'll catch up ... and I seem to have painted myself into a bit of a corner.
