A Space video about Curiosity

I tried to make a lot of videos, but this one is my best. After 2 years understanding how to use some softwares, i made this video.

Any suggestion is welcome

Carl Sagan is unfortunately not fitting everywhere, I'd say. This video is about Mars, and the Pale Blue Dot's speech is about Earth. That doesn't fit.

Otherwise that's a nice video, well edited, but why the SOS at the end? It's so loud!!!

It reminded me of that kinda "two parts" videos I made, the first one 2 weeks before launch, and the second is just after the live landing, with the JPL animations, footage from within Mission Control, and the Eyes on the Solar System footage.

I am known to be really, really stingy about the entirety of the genre of video. So, here's what I view that you can do better. I hope that you take it with a grain of salt. I do not wish to be mean.

With that in mind:

• Misleading thumbnail about an event (spacecraft launch) that did not happen in the video.
  
• No title screen.
  
• The generic text font that you used at the beginning, Veranda, says "I can't spend the time to look for a better font than the default one."
  
• Message to Bears' "You are a Memory" is not overrated, but it is overused. Both of Carl Sagan's speeches that you used are not overrated, but they are overused.
  
• You just took NASA's Curiosity video and kept the entire thing, shot for shot, with apparently no editing of any of it. Seriously, other than a black screen, there's no original content here. (Please, in the future, at least noticeably alter the JPL footage itself.)
  
• Morse code is confusing. (I'm assuming that it's Morse code, because it seems to be typing out "SOS" at the end. Not sure what you're trying to get at there.) Also, really loud and more than slightly annoying.
  

That being said.

I'm sorry for being so hard on you. It's not a bad video, it's just reusing material that has been worked over and over again, to the point where any otherwise minor defect stands out.

thanks for the tips, i'm trying to use 3D softwares like Blender or Cinema 4D

So yeah, i had to reuse a lot of stuff.

for the loud sound, idk... my headphone's volume is set on 9% all the time, i don't even know if the video is loud or not :/

Again, it's very inspired by a lot of videos, i justed placed stuff not created by me (that explains the long credits^^)

For the software used, it was Vegas pro 12 and After Effect.

And, one last thing: Thanks for your constructive answsers, it's not "it sux 0/10" And this can help me for my next animation

EDIT: i couldn't understand everything in Carl Sagan's speech, as i'm french, his accent is a bit difficult to understand^^ I just though it was awesome when you had this song in background

The beeping at the end was pretty annoying how it kept repeating, but the animation was great. What software did you use?

The beeping at the end was morse code for SOS. Not sure why it was used there.
