No EVA actions available

Recommended Posts

I'm having a problem where my EVA'd kerbals don't have any actions available to them. They can't take soil samples, plant flags, collect science data, nothing. The only thing that right-clicking on them shows is the amount of monopropellant they have left. Anyone know what's up? Or can anyone point me to where the EVA actions appear in the code so I can figure out what's up with them?

I believe the newest is .23.5.464 IIRC.

Yes, and I know for a fact that this update fixed a pile of EVA bugs. For example, every time I reloaded a Kerbal prior to that update, it would freeze in a T-bar position. I wouldn't be able to control its RCS pack or do anything with it. I suspect this is the issue the original poster was dealing with.

So pulpo, try opening your KSP Launcher (found in the folder where KSP is installed), and press "Update" to make sure you're updated. When you start KSP, look at the version number and make sure it is 0.23.5.464 or higher.

Looking at the launcher for the version number can be unreliable depending on which KSP you are using. If you check the KSP directory, there is a file called build.txt that has the KSP version in it.

0.23.5.464 is the most recent as of this posting.

I have no idea if KAS does something wacky to the kerbal menu.

I use All those mods (and many more) without issue.
