Time Warp During Fuel Transfer

We can Time Warp through acceleration (up to 4x) as long as we're willing to accept the risk of the ship breaking apart.

Why not allow for Time Warp during fuel transfer? I spend too much time at my orbit refueling stations waiting for fuel to transfer!

Also seems like if you have one tank on top of another that the fuel should automatically transfer into/from both tanks.

Does the "alt + ." not time warp during transfers? I always assumed it did. Never tried it.

You can physics warp during fuel transfers. When you change the warp value it will stop, but you can just resume it when you get to 4x (and yes it will transfer 4x as fast).

You cannot rails warp during fuel transfers, presumably because fuel transfers change the mass distribution of the vessel, which requires physics simulation. IIRC you used to be able to rails warp during fuel transfers, but it was removed - I guess because the sudden change of CoM when coming out of warp was causing kraken attacks.

Thanks for the help. I was able to restart the warp after jumping to 5x. It was stable there, but when i jumped to 10x it became unstable. I imagine it depends on the size of your craft.
