KSP Mun Arch Orbital Soccer Goal

I put a big soccer ball through a Munar arch from orbit:

...and survived!

The explosions after the goal were from the flag and the rover parked at the arch. I'm thinking the engine thrust blew it out of the way, or some KSP glitch. My ship was undamaged, and at the end I recovered a stable orbit.

The arch transit occurred at a true surface altitude of 38m with a velocity of 825 m/s.
