Chadful Kerman, Biome Hunter

With KASA focused on the Golem Eve mission (unmanned, what fun is that?), and the Kercury Three taking up the only manned positions on Starbase Bravo under construction in low Kerbin orbit, Chadful found himself under-utilized. Reading through old Kerbin mission reports, he found references to "tundra".

Chad: Hey, Doc von Kerman! What's "tundra"?

Wernher: It izz a biome, at leazt im teory... no science haz been done on it.

Chad: No science has been done on it YET. Anybody using the Rebel tomorrow?

Wernher: No, I don't zink zo...

And so at dawn we find Chadful airborne and headed north.

Chadful eagerly scans the surface below. I dutifully keep taking temperature readings until I get a reading "above Kerbin's tundra"

Chad: Control, this is Rebel. Objective in sight. I'm going down.

Control: Chad, that's a new ship... DON'T try to land! Use the chutes!

Chad: sigh.

With the engine just ticking over to keep the 'lectrics going, Chad gently descends to the surface.

Chad: Onboard experiments complete, Control. I'm going for a walk.

Control: Roger, Chad. Go for EVA.

Chad: Not Roger. Just Chad.

Chad: Ewwww. I think "tundra" is just another word for mud! Send the recovery crew. I think I'm stuck!

Control: Will do, Rebel. Dr. von Kerman says "Danks for ze Zience!".

Chad (vainly trying to pull a boot up from the muck): You're welcome, Doc (I think ).

I always root for the B team. The Three are rotting in orbit, doing interviews, while the hungry guys do the WORK.
