Note: this is not a professional opinion because my license only allows me practice in my home state, and only under a mentor for 6 more months. I haven't run this by my mentor because I'm allowed to make general public recommendations like this.

Avoid anything fragile such as 3D printed items. Try for large, sturdy toys because one and two year olds will put everything in their mouths (and ears and nose). That's just part of how they learn about the world. Seriously, one of my professors found a kernel of corn in a girl's ear. She said she'd put it there just because.

You might be able to commission a plush Kerbal, but you should definitely discuss materials to make sure the cover is nontoxic and thick enough, and the stitching is reinforced to keep the stuffing from leaking out. A quick search revealed at least one person on DeviantArt who accepts commissions for plush toys.

Other than that, there are planet and star mobiles, rocket toys, and star projectors.

I don't really recommend this poster. I know Jeb comes back to life on a regular basis, but not as a soulless, undead monster.
