What is allergic to cat or dog

Recommended Posts

In recent tests came out that apart from pollen allergies, I have an allergy to dogs, cats and peanuts.

What is nonsense because in the past I had a dog (a female) for almost 14 years, I also had a cat for about 5 years before unfortunately ate something poisoned and unfortunately died, he was very good and wise kitty: (

What is allergic in cats or dog?

The same is true with peanuts, ate them in large quantities and never get me nothing happened.

"Allergic to" means that your body acts as if something harmless is an infection or poison and attacks it. If you are very allergic, then you can get very ill. It doesn't mean you are guaranteed to get ill, but that you may.

A lot of people are allergic to dogs or cats. It doesn't make them ill, but it makes them wheeze. A lot of people become allergic to dogs or cats after they stop owning a dog or cat: while they have the dog or cat their body is used to the fur or saliva, but when they stop owning a dog or cat their body gets confused and starts to think the fur or saliva are poison. If they then meet a dog or cat, they can feel very unwell in their chest.

It is also possible to become allergic to peanuts after many years of eating peanuts. Some people become allergic to peanuts very quickly. Some people take years to become allergic to peanuts. An allergy to peanuts can be very dangerous: peanuts kill a lot of people. Don't eat peanuts! Each time you eat peanuts, the allergy will get worse. If you keep eating peanuts, they will make you very ill.

Doctors and scientists don't know why people get allergies. Sometimes people get allergies because they get an infection of bacteria that have proteins that "look" like something harmless. If the bacteria "look" like peanuts, then a person's body acts as if peanuts are the infection, and the person becomes allergic to peanuts. So a person can eat lots of peanuts, then they get a bacteria that "looks" like peanuts, and they must stop eating peanuts.

I hope this helps to explain!

Thanks, i understand the allergy for pets furs, i want new cat someday, even i if had allergy maybe my body get used to it after sometime of exposition to cat.

I can not even imagine life without cats, they are so cute :) and smart

As for allergies to peanuts, it thought it was an American nonsense, now it happened to me :-( The doctor said that my allergy to peanuts is not large, but discourages their consumption in the months May-August, said that it might encourage other my allergies.

One thing is certain I do not want to give up peanuts, I love peanuts :D

How wise could he have been if he died by eating poison?

(That being said, Socrates died after drinking hemlock poison, though in a slightly different circumstance, so maybe there's something there after all).

It is not uncommon for people to develop allergies. There are hypoallergenic breeds of dogs such as Schnauzers, Bichons, and Yorkshire Terriers. There are also some breeds of hypoallergenic cats. This does not mean that they won't affect your allergies, but that they have a much lesser impact compared to other breeds.

That is NOT how allergies work. They will probably get worse by being permanently close to the cat. So do the cats a favor and make sure before getting one.

There is also the possibility that you are only allergic to a specific kind of cat or some special aspect of it. If I remember correctly (did not fact-check), then the most common reason was the saliva (used to clean the fur), followed by the hair itself. There are probably others.
