SirCmpwn
I posted this on Reddit:Hello! First of all, everything is back to normal now. The problem turned out to be a weird disk space problem and has since been resolved. Unfortunately, it occured shortly after Majiir and I had a (minor) argument and a lot of circumstances combined led me to rashly wonder if it was intentional. Of course, it wasn't, and it was stupid of me to think so. Majiir woke up and immediately fixed the server, which we're moving back to later. We still keep regular backups and both Majiir and I are in a position to take emergency measures to fix downtime. In this case, I spun up a temporary replacement server and restored a backup to it. The important thing to note that in the case of catastrophic failure (like the server disappearing from the face of the Earth), I was able to completely restore the site within 3 hours of finding out. Majiir is able to do the same.Regarding ads, Kerbal Stuff doesn't need money. I know of at least one mod that has decided to host on Curse instead of Kerbal Stuff because Curse gives them a cut of ad revenue. I brought it up for discussion on the forums to see if that was worth doing for KS, too. KS itself doesn't need money, the idea was to give 100% of the revenue directly to the modders. After discussing it, though, we all agreed that it's not a great idea, so we're not doing it.tl;dr site's up, everything's fine, ads aren't happening. Beowolf
Brings to mind an old saying about how the best way to ruin a friendship is to buy a boat together. I guess in the 21st century that applies to running a server together as well.

Ippo
So, just to clarify: at this moment KS is being hosted by SirCmpwn, correct?(I just want to keep track of what is hosted where, that's all)

deepfield
Thank you for this site. I am excited to see it grow. I truly hope our mod authors choose to make a move over. I find it much more intuitive and "feel good" than Curse. When using Curse I feel like im shopping at Wal-Mart when I should be at the local store

SirCmpwn
Anyway, here's a bug that is happening consistently:Thanks for mentioning that. It's not a huge problem, and it's a vendor bug, so it's not a high priority right now.

SirCmpwn
Of course, I'm not done working on it. There is more to come, and I will listen to your bothering. This just means that I think it's good enough to act as the primary website with which you may host your mods.

Because all of the directories are empty. Also, I just thought of something. Maybe you can link the GitHub releases with the Kerbal Stuff download versions with a special tag. SirCmpwn
We discussed it more and decided not to host kerbal stuff on itself. I do want to help those who are interested in site updates learn about them, so stay tuned while that's sorted out.
Ippo
Eh, honestly, I think github makes a better job at this, if one is interested in the site's updates he can follow the repo on github.

So your feed get filled really really fast with activity from one repo.
