Kerbal Personal Histories

I would like to be able to see what each of the Kerbals has done, for example what bodies they have orbited/landed on, what flags they have planted, how far they have driven rovers, how long in space etc.etc.

That would actually be pretty cool. I generally leave Jeb in space permanently, he'd have clocked up some mad hours.

I agree that it would be great to have some in-game elements that differentiate one kerbal from another, currently they're indistinguishable and interchangeable. History of each kerbal would be a good start.

There's a mod, Final Frontier, that implements a per-kerbal history. You could try it if you don't mind mods and don't want to wait for something similar to get implemented in the core game.
