[SOLVED] Trouble Animating Multiple Objects

Recommended Posts

Hi I am making a mod and I am having trouble animating multiple objects. I am use to animating characters with bones but I am trying to use just a simple position and rotate style for this part. The problem is, that they are all separate in the NLA Editor. Once I play the animation on the bottom, they are ALL combined into one. I just want the two shroud objects in one animation and the landing gear objects into one.

hi !

(i'm not an expert so may be i'm wrong ) !

In blender you can use the animation range 1 to 50 one animation and 50 to 100 others animation, but

it's still one animation !

In unity you can have two isolate animation, just go to ADD component -> miscellaneous -> animation or animator

In animation TAB , clic on ADD curve and name you're first animation . for this component

select the others game object or component (not sure if it's exactly this), and add an other animation or animator

go back in animation tab.

You have already a parameter of the first animation but if you click on the name of the animation (next to sample parameter)

you have the choice to create a new clip with other name completely independent.

And you can access these animation by the name in module part.

hi ! thank for the link !!

@tygoo7:

I manage to make a landing-gear, and by the way, I have a separate animation on my light and other on landing gear.

find a better way and more reliable, use the export FBX with blender, and use the selected object option !

redefine the range of the animation corresponding with selected object and export.
