///Developments///

This aircraft is first develops as a single-engine racing aircraft. The first prototype was fitted with science equipments, it could reach the altitude of 35km and top speed of mach 6 (2150m/s) with enough fuel to go around the world. However, it has very poor acceleration and has no real strategic value as a fighting unit.

Fortunately the duo engine configuration is successfully implemented, by using standard jets instead of supersonic jet. Although it can’t reach the same altitude and speeds of its prototype but it have superior acceleration and it could carry more payloads.

///WARNING///

1. This aircraft is design to be unstable to give the upper hand in combat. Be careful with the control in high altitude turns. (Don’t hold for too long.)

2. In an emergency, Press [<-backspace] to deploy chute and shutdown engines. Wait for a little bit before decouple the capsule with [0]. This will avoid the rest of the aircraft from ramming into chute when in turns.

///Spec (no payloads)///

T/O Speed: ~30m/s

Maximum Speed: ~540m/s @ 14km (Mach 1.5)

Maximum engine operational altitude: ~ 14.5 km – 15 km

///Controls///

Action Groups (could be reprogram to be whatever you want.)

1 = Decouple outer stack decoupler in pair.

2 = Decouple inner stack decoupler in pair.

3 = Decouple outer radial decoupler in pair.

4 = Decouple inner radial decoupler in pair.

5 = Decouple center radial decoupler.

6 = Toggle both engines.

9 = Toggle both engines.

0 = Decouple the capsule.

Backspace = Deploy chute, shutdown engines and disable rotation.

If you disable left&right fuel tank and use the center fuel tank, the center of mass will move towards center of lift. This make your craft turns better but more unstable…use it at your own risk.

///Weapons///

Unguided Missile:

Can be program with action group 1, 2 or both.

Gungnir Mk.1 (Guided Missile):

M5BddJU.png

Range: 600m-15km

Have to be manually deploy

1. Make sure the blue sticker on probe body is pointing sky words. (see picture)

2. Select the Clamp-O-Tron Jr. and click “Control from hereâ€Â.

3. Select the decoupler.

4. Press [V] twice for Chase camera and use mouse to view from behind your aircraft.

5. Deploy once within range.(The smaller the target the closer you have to get)

6. Aim at target and press [spacebar].

7. Press [{] or [}] to go back to your aircraft.

Don’t deploy while your aircraft nose pointed to the ground. It will cause missile to tangle up in your aircraft or you could clash into the ground while control the missile.

Dumb bomb & Droppable tanks:

dy3rekR.png

Dumb bomb:

RCS fuel tank, can adjust the weight. Not recommend to take off more than 3 full tanks.

Droppable tanks:

If you have a droppable fuel tank installed, you can disable left&right fuel tank to only use fuel from droppable ones.

Empty the RCS and oxidizer before take off!

///Electronic Warfare version (EW)///

Support and reconnaissance role. There was a plan to have a 2 dockable UAVs but it was unsuccessful.

///Refuel truck///

This download also come with truck. Don’t drive too fast but do a lot of practice on backing up.

Nose art. Like the ones from WWII but mod to match my taste. (This is mine…so…please make one your own)

Nice ship. :) Looks like you put a lot of work into this.

I'm not big on missiles and bombs in this game, but I like the overall design. It looks nice from above. With the layers of control surfaces, it sort of looks like a stack of blades.
