Total War Rome 2 : Why battles are are so slow on my computer?

Recently I made a landing at Britain 3000 thousand of my soldiers and enemy ships versus 2200.

But the my computer laggy slime suspect that my computer is a little weak as of Rome 2, i love TV but i don't have enough mony to buy new pc.

What can I do so I can fully enjoy this beautiful and enlightening game for my poor computer. I wonder as what is to blame, graphics card or CPU?

I have a quad core Intel Q8400 2.66 GHz

Motherboard EP43-DS3

6 gb Ram

NVIDA graphics card MSI GT 630 2 gb

have average settng amd 1440*900 resolution.

I heard that at lowest setting i will not see the blood effect..

I expect the video card is to blame, as this is not really a powerful card at all. Measuring is always the best way of finding out where the problem lies. You could download GPU-Z, a measuring tool for your GPU. After downloading and installing it, you can start it up before starting your game. Also open up Windows Task Manager before starting your game. After playing for a little while you can see whether your GPU or CPU is loaded a 100%.

The best way to deal with that without buying new hardware is fiddling around with the settings. Try to find a mix of settings that look as good as possible, without bogging down your machine too much. There is often quite a lot to gain with some tweaking - just plunking a game on Medium or High often does not lead to optimal results. Personally I prefer a smooth running game to a good looking but lagging game.

That is indeed what someone would say who does not know what he is talking about. Just a GHz number does not say anything at all, as with every generation it pretty much means something else. The Core2's are actually quite capable processors.
