Has anyone played online recently cuz I've been gone for a while and i can't connect to the servers and the server status is broken on the website

Help Please.

The studio that developed it was shut down. Pretty sure that means the servers too. Not sure what that means for single player mode; did it have an offline mode? I seem to recall that connection was mandatory....
