MR4Y
To put it bluntly:I've seen people mentioning developers talking about 'scope-complete this', 'scope-complete that', 'the game must be scope-complete', 'the devs are focusing on scope-completion', etc. With curiosity, I went to the Google machine and searched about the term, only to find that it doesn't have any definition or meaning at all. Also, this specific term is not used anywhere else, apart from here. So, the question arises:What 'scope-complete' means in the first place? vexx32
This has been explained numerous times by Harvester himself, as well as several of the more senior moderation staff. In essence, "scope-complete" means that all the core features and gameplay aspects are present in the game. The whole basic framework is laid down. Career mode, funding, reputation, science points, tutorial mechanics (if not complete tutorials), science, PartModules, the list is quite extensive, really. I suppose other things like manoeuvre nodes and some form of flight planning are likely to be included in this definition. If you want super detailed responses, here's a link to Ted's post on the matter, but as it's been thoroughly covered by several people both directly and slightly less directly involved with Squad already, I don't see a need for this discussion to be had yet again. Let's just end this here, hm?
