Maximum values?

In modding some parts (read: trying to build a lightspeed capable craft), I've noticed there are maximum values for some of the fields.

For example, putting 3000 fuel in a tank results in the game trying forever to load. Engines can't seem to go higher than 2000 or so. *EDIT: ok, it loads on 3000 thrust now*

Is there a list that shows us the game breaking values or will we have to make one ourselves?

strange, because in a test fuel tank (removed by now) i had stocked 999999 fuel, and it didn't broke my game

(my game broke because i mass loaded it with modded parts from the forums)
