Meanwhile i made couple more transport space planes. The peak of development as presented last week has been totally superseeded by todays creation, a 17-engine transporter for really heavy payloads.

It's designed to replace Milkman which was used to transport fuel to LKO but using it up at the same time.

Another one i made is an old school pre-rapier transport space plane with 2 jet engines and 2 LV-T30's for around 7t payload to LKO.

Simply beautiful.

Anyway, first reusable 0.24 design: the Kentaver flyback booster is a success! As it's powered by a mainsail/rapier combo, it's fully capable of semi-long-range atmospheric flight, but it can only take off vertically.

Here's an earlier version detaching the (also reusable) second stage. Only the fairings and interstage are dropped during flight.
