Make it easier to place parts centered on the top of the stayputnik probe. via a new node, or rework the vab logic for spherical shapes, but i can never center my antennae right on top.

its a small thing but i care about appearances.

As a workaround, when you get one attached properly you could save the probe core + antenna as a subassembly.

Place two of them in 2x symmetry and move them to the top until they overlap each other exactly. Then, without moving your mouse, press shift-x to switch to 1x symmetry and place the part.
