Greetings from Duna! (First Manned Interplanetary mission)

Kurt Kerman brings greetings from Duna after a successful landing.

I finally made it to Duna after hours of ship building, forgetting to add things like a antenna and having to revert to VAB in the middle of flight to fix them all but it has been worth it to plant the flag and show Duna who's boss! My ship was kept quite simple with a Lander

(which was probably way too OP) and a interplanetary stage with nuke engines and constructing it in orbit.

The last photo shows the lander stage tipped over on its side, I couldn't manage to balance the fuel into 2 out of the 4 engines and the 2nd engine cut out at the last secound but everything survived.

Congratulations! I remember that moment of my first interplanetary touchdown, yes also on Duna, like it was yesterday (maybe because i just posted an old mission log today )... Well done!
