Notice how, at the 2:00 mark, Neil checks he can actually come back up before going all the way down the ladder. The difference between the pros and we KSPeers.

Watched the real-time rebroadcast on NASA-TV last night. When I saw this, It made a light go *BING* in my head. If the ladder doesn't extend to the ground, I won't go down anymore, regardless of the amount of gravity. Also, it made me think "Geez, I should be more careful in EVA's". I know I'll drive my rovers more carefully and not try stupid things with my kerbals from now on.
