How to add tabs to the new 'toolbar' in .24

One of the features of .24 is the extra buttons beside the resource button, letting you switch to viewing contracts or notifications. Somewhere in the lead up to release I saw a development message saying that they would be moddable (mods can add new buttons up there).

1. In the context of modding what is the proper term for that toolbar/collection of tabs so that I might try searching for information on it.

2. Is there any information already posted on the forums or wiki explaining how a mod can add new buttons/tabs?

Information, not really, but you can always read the source of Alternate Resource Panel, which already integrates with that toolbar. https://github.com/TriggerAu/AlternateResourcePanel

In general, you never see that much useful information in the forums, and the wiki is years out of date in terms of API.

I think he means the new, native (non-Blizzy) toolbar.
