What's your vision of a Utopia? (No critique allowed)

okay the overall idea behind this is where no one is ever bored...

the population is 5 billion people spread out across the solar system, through genetic manipulation many mental illnesses and hereditary disease have been eliminated, the average life span is about 300 years. When someone is near death with no hope of surviving, they will have their minds uploaded into a robotic cloud made of nanobots that make up a thin layer of a sphere (made from material gathered from Mercury and the Oort Cloud) over the surface of the sun. Residents of the sphere (numbering in about 20 billion) live in virtual paradise free of work, pain and fear with the choice of being human again if they wish while the still human population live happily throughout the solar system in comfort as they live out there lives. Every hundred years, the cloud is has about one percent of its mass is moved to another star system (without habitable worlds) via wormhole which will be carrying about 2 billion residents who volunteered to move with the one percent. Each of the remaining planets of the solar system have their own independent government that are designated to manage their own planet and surrounding moons. Taxes are kept at a constant 1 percent with 50 percent of the money going into maintaining and updating public services and scientific research with the rest being devoted to other government programs.

Ceres has been converted into a hub where all communications are relayed and the galactic wormhole device is built. Children are raised in low technology (mainly synthetic books and pencil and paper) environments (so that they may learn to appreciate technology) where the will be taught the importance of altruism but to keep in mind that self preservation is also important. As they grow older, they will be exposed to higher technology and provided with minor non-invasive cybernetic enhancements when they reach the age of 15. Abortion is legalized throughout the solar system but due to advanced technology a third choice has been created where the fetus is removed from body and cryogenically frozen so that the fetus will remain healthy but will not grow and can be reinserted and have growth resume upon reinsertion. Companies still exist as well as mediums for entertainment such as gaming and cinema who are still producing money. Capitalism still exists but slightly modified where children are given an equal chance from the beginning but once they become part of the workforce, then whether succeed is there choice.

Jeez, so many people with a utopia in which all sorts of horrible things happen to me. Thanks guys.

When no one will need to think about the utopia concept' date=' i guess my own will be reached ;)[/quote']

Well I suppose that I'm only thinking about it because I feel like it, not because I need to. So not yet. Maybe one day I'll be put in charge of utopia planning as my job or something and we'll reach your utopia.

I keep trying to think of a way to make everyone happy and peaceful and keep it that way but the only ways I can think of are mass-brainwashing and scorched earth.

I think this might work:

Robots do everything for us. Convince everyone that they're in a horrible dystopian society but they're the ruling class. Keep everyone in extremely small communities, tell them that there are poor people everywhere else. Give them the (fake) occasional news report which shows how much the lives of everyone else suck. Everyone will be happy because they're better than most people. Within the individual small communities there will be no scarce resources and thus there (I think) can't be too much conflict between them. They're all too busy being better than the imaginary lower class to fight each other.

Edit: Actually I wouldn't really want to live in that utopia that much. But I think that it would be a way to keep everyone happy.
