In the gamesave, where is the line for the amount of time your game has been running?

That is, when you start a new save you begin at Year 0, Day 0. There was a mod that previously allowed you to change this so I understand that is able to be changed, but where is the line that would allow me to configure this? When I play I enjoy RPing, and beginning at year 0 doesn't feel right.

I looked through the persistence file and didn't find it. It may be simpler to just go to the space center at time warp a bit. Just a suggestion.

Well, I used to use the mod to start my game past Year 100, I'm not sure how long it'd take to get that far but I hope I can find a way to not do that.

IIRC there should be a line starting 'UT' or 'UniversalTime' or something similar. It represents the number of seconds since the epoch (i.e. game start). If you edit the number it should change the in-game time.

I'll check the exact line when I get to my PC later tonight.

It says UT=(some number) if I remember right, and it's the time in seconds.

Some players have reported bugs with very large values, equivalent to several hundred years say, for this.

I know I encountered problems with a thousand years, but never with a hundred. Thanks. (What would be the time in seconds for year 230?)

If my calculations are correct it would be 7153920000 but I could be off.
