Average launch vehicle costs?

Usually around √30000 for LKO rescue craft, √70000 for Mun/Minmus manned science modules. Don't count retured funds.

Don't pay that much attention to launch costs at the moment, although I know my current design is heading well past 500k, but it is a mega test bed for something like 8 equipment tests, so if I can stage at the right time I should get millions back.....

Edit: Total of 4 million returned, with 1 test missed...

The Pro-Chutes go up for about √2.2 / Kg of payload and have enough gas to circularize and accurately re-enter to the flats west of the KSC for a √1 / Kg of payload returned when recovered. Payloads are 20, 30, 40, 50 & 70 tons, but if you are very economical on the ascent you can squeeze an extra 10% of the payload mass into orbit for even better value.

So, they push close up to the √1 / Kg of payload cost mark...

Around 60,000-100,000 for my reusable rocket... Thing is, only the first stage is recovered, and the 2nd stage may be worth more than I'm thinking it is. I should probably put some landing legs on it....

My duna ship is just under 125k, everything else hovers around 70.
