Found a new Easter Egg?

So 10 minutes ago I opened up KSP to film some more of my military series and was greeted with this....]

I do have a fair amount of mods installed but I wouldn't think that any of them would do something like this. I also have a feeling that this may have been added with the new update. Anyway, I'm no expert so feel free to tell me if I'm just spurting out rubbish.

this keeps popping up in different threads, though ive never seen the rcs tank version. can i get some finality on what caused it? even the ksp facebook posted about it.
