A day is now 6 hours (or one kerbin day)

I think that changed in 0.23.5. It confused quite a lot of people who had suddenly discovered that much more time had elapsed than they'd previously noticed. Of course, it was the same amount of time, but the length of the day and year for Kerbin have been adjusted, so there's something like 426 6-hour days in one Kerbin year.

Yup, Kerbin days are now 6 hours long (Kerbin's rotation period) and Kerbin years 426 days (Kerbin days, that is) long (Kerbin's orbital period around Kerbol). That means that 1 Kerbin year is 106.5 Earth days long, or about 0.29 Earth years.

Personally, since I started playing KSP I felt this is how the game should keep track of time. I'm glad Squad switched to this.

I've recently come to the conclusion that Kerbals don't sleep. So while it would make sense for them to base a time keeping system off of their 6 hour day/night cycle, I dont think time matters to them. Only boosters matter....only boosters....

You can now (well, since 0.23.5) toggle the ingame clock between Kerbin and Earth time. However, Kerbin was not spun up, and still has 6 hour sidereal days/6 hour 51 second synodic days

Holy cow, how did they specifically mention that in the changelog and not change it? I bet the transfer calculator writers are scratching their heads.

And struts. Dont forget the struts. It wouldnt do for those boosters to fall off before they have a chance to explode.

I changed mine back to 24 hours, just make a whole lot more sense in my head.

NOTE: Many mods are time-dependent, too. Kerbal Alarm Clock, TAC Life Support, and various others. You also need to change them back to 24-hour days or you get confusion ;)

I have no idea. The only good news is that depending on how the transfer calculator works, Kerbin's spin may be mostly irrelevant. Even moreso with a difference of <0.6 m/s.
