Ok, since everyone is flooding this place with tanks. I will put mine too, just wait I have to revive my stock weapon armory. Andrew's and Zeke's tanks look awesome btw. (To those new here, I've seen the Type 10) I have new chassis for my tanks it's just a matter of installing weapons and maybe later on a rotating turret.

Forgetting someone?

;.;

I know your tank looks cool. I only mentioned them because you are new here. (Also welcome! to da club). They are both established tank makers, as you can see from the previous test done my Zekes on your tank it only looks cool but not as tough as you might expect it to be. You have to step up your game ;)

Poor Jon Poor Jon's tank :(

Here it is if anyone wants to test it:

Steigung (meaning "Sloped" in German" - uses fuel to create electricity (to turn on pumps press "1"), carries 6 HV long-shots in front and two in the back.

No need to test it on my side, I think you've done enough.

Ran it through some testing - shot at it about 7 times, 100m range, for a total of 28 shots, added armor where it was needed/fixed one or two glaring weak spots in the survivablility... it can easily take a whole volley of missiles and walk it off... only twice did I knock it out, and once was because it had only one control pod *Facepalm* so I fixed that.

The proof that it's strong is that the FT-400 tank in the middle of the fuselage is completely unharmed after 100% of testing, only once the rear tanks broke off, and only two or three times did the main armament get damaged, but never completely taken out.

Awesome! does the turret rotate? If the turret doesn't rotate it means it's even tougher than what anyone should expect. Guess my new tank has a nice opponent other than the Andrew's type 10. Nice side armor :)

What's the tanks's stats? Partcount, Mass and Cost?

It has no turret because I'm very skeptical of turrets on war tanks - too easy to break (with the exception of the Challenger IV, which i might bring back. We'll see). It's just easier to fit more ammo on a turretless hull, and it's stronger.

It's 563 parts, 38 tons, 8 longshot missiles. Crew of 4 sits all in the lower part of the tank, 2 front 2 back.

I will try and top that or at least make par with it but are the kerbals really necessary?

I figure it's realistic - the Challenger has 4, and even the mouse had two seats. It's a matter of formality, for crew (and it helps to repair wheels).

OH yeah of course, wheel repair.. would you like to test it against my Krak Tank? It's the best stock tank I currently have. I'm modifying my newly made BD armory equipped tanks to be stock again.

I would like the opportunity of using the lynx to actually destroy one of zeke's tanks myself.

Obviously they are not designed to take damage from the sides especially. They are light tanks designed to surround and to damage. And look cool.

That is untrue. I actually signed up to the forum before you even though I did not really do anything. I have made several tanks in older version which I am pretty sure If I showed you... you would remember.

Link's on the last page.... Do your worst, I tested my armor against your shots at 100m.

Ive tested my tank against your old ones and I actually think you game needs stepped up.

I'm so sorry I totally forgot about you, Now I remember. Anyways speaking of cool. Here's a pic of my first tank the MAELSTROM under "artillery fire and on a live minefield". I always loved this amphibious tank.

I took this screenshot ages ago I just forgot to post it here. If someone could edit it through photoshop to look authentic like it was in a real battle it would be great. *looks at zekes* ;)

Don't worry I am out. My stuff sucks in comparison to anything you guys make. I won't be back until I have anything comparable. But I am sure that day might come. In the meantime the lynx can suffice for light operations :P

But when you ever face the lynx remember it is all about the gun and the lighter weight and not the armor. Especially from the sides. From the front it stands a chance.

Still don't underestimate the lynx. The armor is not amazing but one can actually cripple one of Zekes' tank destroyers. And is half the weight.

Lives to kill and be killed.

Hey guys, can i do a few battles? This is one of my ships:Ok, the Kleine Engel-class Heavy Cruiser: at 848 parts and with 6 modular docking systems allowing fighters or anything dock-able on board. The ship comes installed with extra delta-v systems using 4 ion engines per range extension pod. The ship also weighs 169 tons with weaponry. Speaking of weapons, it has 2 1.25 m SRB missiles, 2 1.25 m liquid fuel guided missiles, 6 .625 m liquid fueled anti fighter missiles(w/ RCS systems) and 2 I-beam separatron missiles with RCS that can be used against small capital ships. With her 6 ion drop pods, she has 4,603 m/s of delta v, enough to reach Laythe orbit and back with careful maneuvers. She carries 4 crew in her top, armored lander cans. Also, the sides of the hull have quad layered armor without the attached missile launchers. Here are some pics of this beast!(does not come with launcher)

Which one do you think is tougher, test them out if your itching for some action. I'm still in the middle of developing next generation armament for my ships. I still have to arm them. The first one is just for target practice, the second one I'll probably use for battle.

Alright with the recent development of everyone else tanks I had to step it up too.

7gW5r1h.jpg

I built a heavier tank from the lynx chassis with heavier armor compared to the original but more importantly a 360 turning turret with 6 high penetration I-beams and one light machine gun mounted anti-tank round.

Still working on developing it.

that looks good!

Also, new SABOT rounds are in testing - results are unpredictable. I've gotten dead on hits that don't do any damage to the target, and sometimes I'll hit the ground early and the shot ricochets into the tank, splitting it in half.....

So they are just regular I-beam rockets with guidance?
