Signature Resolution Limit

In the FAQ the signature size limit says "no taller than 80 pixels, text and images included, no greater than 750 pixels wide" .. but the forum software says "The maximum size of your custom image is 750 by 120 pixels".

Which is it?

I believe the size limit is now 750 wide and 120 tall.

It did used to be 80, and is now 120 IIRC. Which FAQ did you find that in, It should be fixed..

Either way, its all now handled by VB and it automatically cuts off images that are too big.

Pretty sure a lot of the .gif signatures exceed the 200kB limit. Though it's not in the forum rules any more so it may not matter.

Feel free to let us know if you think a signature exceeds the size limit requirement; we'll generally remove it fairly quickly. Not sure why it's no longer in the rules; I'll check with the higher ups as to whether it was intentional or not.
